Encourage a love of reading with the Sprig Learning Bookshelf app for iPad! Sprig Learning has a collection of digital, interactive books featuring Antle the Moose and friends as they explore their home and the Mi’kmaw Culture in Nova Scotia, Canada.
This multilingual platform is fully narrated with three reading modes: auto-read, read-aloud, and read myself. Kids and parents can explore the unique interactive elements, effects, and character animations across each page in both English and Mi’kmaw, and in beginner and advance modes.
The app is free to download and comes with 4 stories built in partnership with the Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey of Nova Scotia: Antle Goes to a PowWow; Aliet Gathers Medicine; Kalo’lin Loves Nitap Day; and Pikto’l Learns to Fish.
